Our Moo Family is Growing!

I am so excited to share with you some very exciting news that even Moo’s super flattering Spring capes are struggling to keep a secret any longer. Yes, the rumours are true – I am having a baby!

Our new arrival is due in Summer when, by my calculations, Jenson will have made the seamless transition from tantrum throwing toddler, to adoring big brother. That’s what happens, right?!

Of course we are all over the moon, but I’m under no illusion that it’s going to be a walk in the park juggling a young family and a growing business, and that’s why I’ve called in reinforcements!

Recently, you may have seen a new face on the Moo block and it belongs to Helen… she has been involved with the business behind the scenes at fashion shows and such like for some time but is now taking a more brand focused role on our website and social media feeds.

This news coincides with our wonderful Esther taking a step back from the modelling duties, which led to becoming our much loved face of Moo Boutique Yorkshire for the past 18months and also behind the counter. Esther will always be a valued member of the Moo Crew and will hopefully put in the odd shift here and there (Well we’d miss her far too much otherwise wouldn’t we?)

Also providing support in store is Kim and Philippa who I am thrilled have joined our Moo Crew. Both are Mum’s of two with busy lives to boot… Kim running her own Wedding Stationery business – check her out on instagram @paper_soul_design and Philippa has a long standing part time position at a catering outlet. Both have settled in seamlessly making headways getting all the new gorgeous Summer stock out on our rails, in fact they’re struggling with the Moo temptations like all of us! And of course our key Moo Crew member, Jo is always wearing her famous smile.

Building a strong and passionate team is a key part of my vision for Moo Boutique Yorkshire and it is so important to me to find the right people for the job. Last month I was delighted to be featured in the local media and was keen to reinforce the message that customer service is integral to the success of independent retailers, battling to stay alive on the High Street. My team of ladies each bring with them their own set of skills, experience and personalities, but we share a joint commitment to understanding the needs of our customers, helping them to look great and feel fantastic.

If growing a business and a baby at the same has taught me anything, it is to remember what is important. And in these challenging days of puffy ankles and expanding waistlines, my trusty breathable Woden trainers are top of that list! Available in dreamy new Spring colours including blush pink (not a hint, honest!) they are my secret ammunition for getting through a challenging day and fortunately current fashion dictates that trainers go with EVERYTHING.

Pop in store and try on a pair, if they help you live your best life, I promise they will help you live your comfiest!
