Are you blessed with great jeans?
It’s in every fashion lover’s DNA to seek out denim that delivers on both comfort and fit, but are you also feeling the pressure to tick the ethical box too?
Considering every aspect of your purchase has never been more important and at Moo we are constantly on the hunt for brands that close the gap between ethics and aesthetics.
So when the new denim edit landed in store this week, no wonder it caused quite a stir amongst the team - and you lot have been super quick on the take up too!
First up, our fave Scandi brand Sofie Schnoor nailed our new season jean needs with a lighter distressed wash in super soft and stretchy denim made from recycled bottles! Who knew that was a thing?
Also available in a dress up/dress down grey colourway, we know they are a perfect fashion fit, but it feels extra good to find staples that suit our growing environmental conscience too.
Recycling is not only cropping up on the fashion production manifesto, but it’s also a key message being communicated via design.
Our latest casual line sees laid back staples such as hoodies, sweaters and jackets updated with unique detailing taken from recycled denim. Think hems and cuffs taken from a pre-loved denim jacket or sewn on patchwork in super modern street styles. It’s a full range of one size wonders, designed to be perfect throw on pieces that go with everything. We’re loving styling ours with either the new drop of floaty dresses or toning down last season’s party wear for a cool and casual evening look.
For most of us, this boom in ethical thinking comes as a bit of a rude awakening. We are, after all, products of a throwaway society, the effects of which are only just beginning to present themselves in such alarming ways.
Without going all Greta Thunberg on you, we are trying to think of ways to do our little bit extra for the planet here at Moo Boutique Yorkshire and this line certainly feels like the perfect way to wear our greener heart not only on our sleeves, but on our legs and backs too!
Like the concept but need help working out how this look works for you? We hear you! Pop in and see us for some style inspiration and to try out a few different ways to do denim.
